Main Article Content
Abstract
The work was developed in the Estación Experimental AgroForestal Baracoa, Guantánamo province, with the objective of inventorying the flora and the fauna in two systems agro forest with Theobroma cocoa Lin. under the mountainous conditions of Baracoa, Guantánamo province. The flora, reptiles and amphibians were characterized by the parcels storms of 1000 m² method and for the birds those of Transectos and Points of Count. The classifications of the species of plants and animals were carried out with the help of manuals and specialists of Flora and Fauna of Baracoa; they were carried out exchanges with producers. The results were processed by means of the t-student test. The diversity and floricultural composition and wildlife are bigger in the ECCB (172 and 55) that in the EICB (163 and 41). The diversity and floricultural composition and wildlife are bigger in the ECCB (172 and 55) that in the EEAF (163 and 41). 10 species of amphibians were detected, 11 of reptiles, 34 of birds, 84 of grass weed, 15 of plants that serve as temporary or permanent shade to the cultivation, 70 species of plants like it covers for the biodiversity, 57 like food of the fauna and 29 of the man, 12 as control of the erosion and 23 with ends timber.
