Inventory of terrestrial mollusks associated to the plantations of coffee in the town Jagueyón, The Salvador, Guantánamo

Abstract
En Cuba el cultivo del café se extiende por las tres regiones montañosas del país, con una mayor presencia en la región oriental (macizos Nipe-Sagua-Baracoa y Sierra Maestra), en los cuales se produce el 80 % del grano, mientras que en la zona central (macizo Guamuhaya) se produce el 14 % y en la región occidental (macizo Guaniguanico), el 6 % del café cubano (Sánchez, 2001).
Las áreas sembradas y la producción de café arábico se han incrementado en los últimos años. Bulqueski (2001), citado por Martínez, 2012, menciona cómo esta especie en 2001 ocupó el 17 % del total de café plantado en el país.
